Yew poisoning of olive baboons (Papio anubis) in captivity: laboratory diagnosis.

OBJECTIVES: Toxic effects of the yew have been known since ancient times. Yew toxicity is due to the content of cyanogenic glycosides and a mixture of alkaloids known as taxines.
