We
are pleased to announce the publication of a Special Issue of
NEL on "Human Ethology and Evolutionary Psychology"
as of December 2002. Brief review articles from key figures
of the field cover a wide range of topics from the scientific
fields of Human Ethology and Evolutionary Psychology. Further
one of the contributors has been awarded
with the
Zdenek-Klein-Award for Human Ethology, under the Auspices
of the Neuroendocrinology Letters, together with the "Club
of Friends of the Neuroendocrinology Letters" and the
International Journal of the Prenatal and Perinatal Psychology
and Medicine.

The "Zdenek Klein Award for Human Ethology" honouring the
work and life of the late
Zdenek Klein was founded on August 8, 2001 under the Auspices
of the Neuroendocrinology Letters, together with the "Club
of Friends of the Neuroendocrinology Letters" and the
International Journal of the Prenatal and Perinatal Psychology
and Medicine.
The "Zdenek Klein Award for Human Ethology" will be granted
once a year for the best work in that field, especially
within the area of Integrative Neuroendocrinology and Human
Ethology.
